White is a soft off-white from Shannon Fabrics’ Cuddle Extra Wide line. This solid minky has a plush 3mm pile, is 100% polyester, and comes in a generous 90" width that lets you back many quilts in one piece.
A clean white back goes with any quilt top, from bright modern designs to soft pastel baby quilts, and it gives a finished quilt a fresh, polished look. Because it’s a soft white rather than a stark one, it looks natural behind both warm and cool quilt tops. It’s also a popular choice for christening and baby blankets, memory quilts, and gifts where you want the quilting stitches to show up softly on the back.
Cuddle is also great for baby blankets, baby accessories, apparel, throws, pillows, pet beds, and stuffed animals. If you’re choosing between whites, compare White with Snow for a brighter option and Pearl for a warmer ivory.
