Saltwater is a pale aqua from Shannon Fabrics’ Cuddle Extra Wide line, a solid minky with a plush 3mm pile. It’s 100% polyester and 90" wide, so one length can back many lap and throw quilts with little or no piecing.
Soft and breezy like sea spray, this light blue-green is a calming choice for coastal and beach-house quilts, nursery blankets, and gender-neutral baby gifts. It pairs beautifully with coral, sand, gray, and white on the front.
Cuddle is also great for baby accessories, stuffed animals, pillows, and apparel. Compare Saltwater with Raindrop and Ice if you’re choosing between pale aquas. If you’re new to minky, a walking foot, a slightly longer stitch, and plenty of clips help keep the layers from shifting.
