Loden is a dark olive green in the Cuddle Extra Wide collection from Shannon Fabrics. This solid minky has a plush 3mm pile, is 100% polyester, and measures 90" wide for quilt backs that need little or no piecing.
Named for the traditional alpine wool, this deep, earthy green has a rugged, outdoorsy feel. It’s a natural backing for hunting and camping quilts, cabin and lodge designs, and men’s throws, and it hides pet hair and everyday wear well.
Cuddle is also great for pet beds, pillows, and cozy throws. Pair Loden with quilts in rust, tan, cream, and plaid for a classic cabin look. Compare it with Cactus for a lighter olive and Spruce for a darker evergreen. A walking foot and extra clips make minky easier to sew.
