Golden is a sunny golden yellow from Shannon Fabrics’ Cuddle Extra Wide line. It’s a solid minky with a plush 3mm pile, made from 100% polyester, and 90" wide, so many quilt backs can be cut in one piece.
Warm and cheerful, this rich yellow brings sunshine to the back of a quilt. It’s a natural fit for kids’ and baby quilts, sunflower and summer designs, and team throws, and it pairs beautifully with gray, navy, purple, and white on the front.
Cuddle is also great for stuffed animals, pillows, apparel, and baby blankets. Compare Golden with Sunshine for a similar bright yellow and Butter for a soft pastel. If you’re sewing with minky for the first time, a walking foot and plenty of clips make it easier to handle.
