Elderberry is a dusty mauve purple from Shannon Fabrics’ Cuddle Extra Wide line. It’s a solid minky with a plush 3mm pile, made from 100% polyester, and 90" wide, so one length can back many quilts.
This soft, muted purple has a gentle, vintage feel. It’s a lovely backing for floral and cottage quilts, girls’ room and nursery designs, and quilts with lavender, pink, sage, and gray on the front. It’s a nice alternative to pink when you want something soft but a little more grown-up, and a thoughtful choice for comfort and gift quilts.
