Brown is a deep chocolate brown from Shannon Fabrics’ Cuddle Extra Wide line, a solid minky with a plush 3mm pile. It’s 100% polyester and 90" wide, so one length can back many lap and throw quilts with little or no piecing.
This rich, classic brown grounds the back of a quilt with cozy warmth. It’s a natural fit for cabin and lodge quilts, Western and woodland designs, and fall throws, and it hides pet hair and everyday wear better than lighter colors. It’s a practical choice for blankets that get used every day.
Cuddle is also great for pet beds, pillows, stuffed animals, and apparel. Pair Brown with quilts in cream, rust, gold, and plaid for a classic lodge look. Compare it with Woodland and Coffee if you’re choosing between dark browns. A walking foot and extra clips help minky feed evenly as you sew.
