Bayou is a deep teal-black in the Cuddle Extra Wide collection from Shannon Fabrics. This solid minky has a plush 3mm pile, is 100% polyester, and is 90" wide for quilt backs with little or no piecing.
Dark and mysterious like still water at dusk, this near-black blue-green adds moody depth to the back of a quilt. It’s a great backing for modern and masculine quilts, nautical and outdoor designs, and jewel-tone palettes, and it hides everyday wear and pet hair well.
Cuddle is also great for throws, pillows, pet beds, and apparel. Pair Bayou with quilts in teal, gold, rust, and cream. Compare it with Poseidon for a brighter teal and Spruce for a dark green. A walking foot and extra clips help keep minky layers aligned.
