Tree Stripe in Cream layers soft bands of pine tree silhouettes across a cream background, a quiet, tonal take on the forest theme in Paddle & Pine. The collection was designed by Janelle Penner for White Owl Textiles, part of Lumin Fabrics, and this print is 100% cotton quilting fabric.
Because the trees are printed tone-on-tone, the fabric reads as a light neutral with gentle texture. That makes it a strong background for the collection's poster blocks, a light value for half-square triangles and flying geese, or a sashing fabric that keeps the outdoor theme going between blocks. The banded layout also gives borders a subtle sense of a distant tree line.
