Ivory is a soft ivory from Shannon Fabrics’ Cuddle Extra Wide line, a solid minky with a plush 3mm pile. It’s 100% polyester and extra wide, so one length can back many lap and throw quilts with little or no piecing.
Warm and classic, this creamy neutral goes with almost any quilt top. It’s a lovely backing for traditional and heirloom quilts, christening and baby blankets, and wedding gifts, and it gives a finished quilt a soft, elegant look that’s gentler than bright white.
