The Harvest Table Runner Kit turns Harvest on the Prairie fabrics into a finished fall centerpiece. Designed by Modern Prairie for Riley Blake Designs, the runner features three blocks, two pieced maple leaves with a pumpkin in the center, each made from the collection's warm florals and set on a cream background. A sunflower print border frames the whole runner, which finishes at 19" x 47".
The kit includes the pattern plus the fabric for the runner top and binding, packaged together in a keepsake box of about 6" x 10" x 2½". The fabrics are already coordinated, so you can skip the fabric pull and go straight to cutting. You'll need to supply your own backing and batting, along with thread and basic sewing supplies.
With only three blocks, this is a manageable project for a few weekend sewing sessions, and it's a nice way to try the collection before starting a full quilt. Finish it in time for Thanksgiving dinner, or give the boxed kit to a quilter who loves fall. Once the runner is done, the keepsake box makes handy storage for small notions.
