Spend the day with Elaine Buchanan learning to make the Carnival Quilt using fabrics from Gypsy, the Sewposium-exclusive fabric collection by Jason Yenter and Karen Montgomery.
The Carnival Quilt finishes at approximately 42" x 54". Elaine will guide you through construction step by step and share helpful tips for making accurate quarter-square triangles. There will be a break for lunch.
You will not finish the entire quilt during class. The goal is to give you a strong start, help you understand the construction process, and make sure you are comfortable completing the quilt at home.
The required Carnival Quilt Kit includes the fabric needed for the Carnival Quilt plus enough fabric for a second bonus quilt project. Students will also receive the bonus pattern so they can use the remaining fabric from the kit for another project.
