Quadrille Teal is one of four Quadrille colorways in Garden Dalliance, the Shelley Cavanna collection for Benartex inspired by Regency-era English gardens and country house gatherings. Teal links the collection's aqua and indigo colorways.
Use it as a bridge color. In a quilt that moves from aqua blocks to dark indigo borders, Quadrille Teal can sit in the transition rows or sashing so the shift feels gradual. It also suits cornerstones, binding, and the backs of smaller projects such as table runners.
Teal also appears in Hedgerow Teal and Pressed Petals Teal, and the Garden Threads sister collection offers Linen Teal, a linen-look print. Shelley's Garden Dalliance Project Bag pattern uses the Linen print as a surface you cross-stitch directly onto before sewing it into a zippered bag, so Quadrille Teal could make a coordinated lining or trim for that project.
The collection was created for Shelley's book, Garden Dalliance Sampler (C&T Publishing, 2026), which pairs quilts with cross-stitch patterns for makers who enjoy both crafts.
