Garden Dalliance – Quilting Cotton – Quadrille – Indigo

Quadrille Indigo combines one of Garden Dalliance's six prints with the deep indigo that anchors the whole collection. Shelley Cavanna designed this Benartex line around rich indigo grounds, using them to support botanical color in aqua, coral, berry and grass green.

In a quilt, a dark fabric is often what separates blocks and makes them readable. Consider Quadrille Indigo for sashing and borders in a sampler, for setting triangles in an on-point layout, or for the binding on almost any Garden Dalliance project. Since Indigo is offered in six of the collection's prints, Quadrille Indigo also blends easily into an all-indigo scrappy quilt.

Shelley created Garden Dalliance so readers of her book, Garden Dalliance Sampler (C&T Publishing, 2026), could make its quilts in fabric that's currently in print; she notes that most of the prints in the original projects are no longer available.

Outside of quilts, Quadrille Indigo is a practical choice for bag exteriors, zipper pouches and coasters. Pair it with Quadrille Teal or Quadrille Berry to show one design in contrasting colors.
