Promenade Coral comes from Garden Dalliance, the Benartex collection Shelley Cavanna of Cora's Quilts designed around Regency-era English gardens. Its name nods to the afternoon promenades that inspired the line, and the coral colorway carries the collection's warmest note.
Coral is one of four botanical colors the designer placed against Garden Dalliance's rich indigo grounds, alongside aqua, berry and grass green. That contrast makes this print a natural choice wherever you want warmth to stand out against darker fabrics: cornerstones, a stop border, or a scrappy binding that frames indigo blocks.
If you're working from Shelley's book, Garden Dalliance Sampler (C&T Publishing, 2026), this is one of the 21 fabrics she created so readers could make the book's quilts with fabric that is currently in print. Cora's Quilts has also recolored each quilt in the book using Garden Dalliance and Garden Threads.
For smaller sewing, Promenade Coral works well in zippered pouches, pillow fronts and table toppers, where a single warm print can carry the whole look.
