Pressed Petals Teal brings a blue-green colorway to one of the six prints in Garden Dalliance, Shelley Cavanna's Benartex collection inspired by the gardens of Regency-era England.
Teal is especially helpful when a quilt needs a color that works with both lighter and deeper fabrics. Pressed Petals Teal can connect aqua and indigo prints in a sampler, fill the in-between rows of a gradient layout, or serve as a binding that complements both. Pair it with Hedgerow Teal and Quadrille Teal for a three-print teal palette from the same collection.
Shelley designed Garden Dalliance for the projects in her book, Garden Dalliance Sampler (C&T Publishing, 2026), which combines 20 quilt blocks and six quilts with six cross-stitch patterns. The sister collection, Garden Threads, adds subtler peony, orange blossom and linen-look coordinates for areas where you want the eye to rest.
Pressed Petals Teal is also a good fit for napkins, pillowcases, and the lining of a quilted bag. For a matching backing, the collection's Shadowleaf Indigo wide back sits comfortably beside teal.
