Garden Dalliance – Quilting Cotton – Pressed Petals – Berry

Pressed Petals Berry is part of Garden Dalliance, Shelley Cavanna's collection for Benartex inspired by Regency-era English gardens. The print's name calls to mind the old habit of pressing garden flowers as keepsakes, a fitting idea for a collection that brings cross-stitch and quilting together.

Berry is one of the botanical colors the designer placed against the collection's rich indigo grounds. Pressed Petals Berry makes a strong accent fabric: try it in flower centers, the points of stars, a narrow inner border, or the binding of a quilt made mostly from indigo and aqua prints.

Garden Dalliance carries Berry in Posy, Quadrille and Pressed Petals, so you can mix designs while keeping the accent color consistent. The fabrics were designed to accompany Shelley's book, Garden Dalliance Sampler (C&T Publishing, 2026), where blocks and quilts are matched with cross-stitch projects, so a finished quilt and a stitched piece can share the same colors.
