Hedgerow Teal gives the Garden Dalliance hedgerow print a deeper blue-green color. The collection, designed by Shelley Cavanna for Benartex, is inspired by Regency-era English gardens and pairs botanical prints with a palette drawn from country house gatherings and afternoon promenades.
Teal is a useful bridge between the collection's aqua and indigo colorways. In a sampler, it can link lighter aqua blocks to the deep indigo prints so the quilt doesn't look divided into two halves. It also works for sashing, cornerstones and binding, where a connecting color is often more useful than a contrasting one.
Garden Dalliance also offers Teal in Quadrille and Pressed Petals, so you can build a teal-focused fabric pull without leaving the collection. Shelley designed the line to accompany her Garden Dalliance Sampler book (C&T Publishing, 2026), which brings cross-stitch and quilting together with 20 blocks, six quilts and six cross-stitch patterns.
Hedgerow Teal is also well suited to zippered pouches, totes and other bags that get carried every day.
