Garden Dalliance – Quilting Cotton – Hedgerow – Coral

Hedgerow Coral blends the collection's rambling-hedgerow theme with its warmest color. Garden Dalliance, designed by Shelley Cavanna for Benartex, draws on the gardens of Regency-era England, and coral is one of the botanical colors she set against the line's deep indigo grounds.

Because Hedgerow is printed in five colorways, Coral is useful when you want warmth to repeat across a quilt without introducing a new design. Try it in alternating blocks with Hedgerow Indigo for strong contrast, or scatter it through a scrappy sampler so the warm notes are spread evenly across the top.

Shelley created this collection specifically for the projects in her Garden Dalliance Sampler book, and Cora's Quilts patterns including Summerlea, Crocuses and the Petits Fours Table Runner are built around Garden Dalliance.
