Garden Dalliance – Quilting Cotton – Hedgerow – Aqua

Hedgerow is named for the rambling English hedgerows that helped inspire Garden Dalliance, Shelley Cavanna's Regency-garden collection for Benartex. In Aqua, it brings a cool, fresh color into a line that is anchored by deep indigo.

Hedgerow comes in five colorways (Aqua, Coral, Grass, Indigo and Teal), more than any other print in the collection. That range makes it easy to build a controlled scrappy quilt from one design, letting the color shifts do the work while the print stays consistent. Aqua sits on the cool end of that set and pairs readily with Hedgerow Teal and Hedgerow Grass.

Shelley designed the collection for her book Garden Dalliance Sampler (C&T Publishing, 2026), which includes 20 blocks, six quilts and six cross-stitch patterns. One of the book's quilts is also named Hedgerow, and Cora's Quilts has recolored the book's quilts in Garden Dalliance fabrics.

Hedgerow Aqua is a good candidate for sashing in a sampler, alternate blocks in a one-print scrappy layout, or lining a project bag you want to feel light inside.
