Prairie Flower in the Multi colorway is a 107/108" wide back from Denim & Daisy, designed by Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet for Riley Blake Designs. As a multicolor floral, it pulls several shades from the collection into one 100% cotton print rather than focusing on a single color.
The design features prairie-style blooms in blue and tan tones on a cream background. A mixed-color floral is a practical backing choice when the front of your quilt is scrappy or uses many fabrics, because it relates to more of the top’s colors and helps the back feel connected to the front.
The 107/108" width is what makes a wide back worth choosing. Compared with piecing panels of standard 44" cotton, a wide back can cover many quilt backs in a single width, reducing seams and the bulk they add during quilting. Measure your top and include extra margin on all sides before ordering yardage.
