Baby Lock Vesta Sewing and Embroidery Machine
The Baby Lock Vesta BLMVE brings sewing, decorative stitching, and embroidery together in one computerized machine. With 301 sewing stitches, 293 embroidery designs, and a maximum 6-1/4 × 10-1/4-inch embroidery field, it supports garment making, quilting, and personalized projects.

Sewing convenience
The Vesta includes a needle up/down button, programmable needle stopping, reverse and reinforcement controls, an electronic foot controller, and a hands-free knee lifter. The removable flatbed attachment allows free-arm sewing, while drop feed and the included free-motion open-toe quilting foot support free-motion work.
The Automatic Fabric Sensor System adjusts presser-foot pressure as fabric thickness changes. Pressure and thread-tension settings can also be adjusted on screen. The advanced needle threader is operated by a lever and supports compatible needles from size 75/11 through 100/16; twin and wing needles must be threaded by hand.
A top-loading Class 15 bobbin makes bobbin changes convenient. The quick-set bobbin winder must be stopped when winding slows; it should not be treated as an automatic full-bobbin stop.
Embroidery editing and transfer
Combine designs and lettering, adjust placement and size, rotate or mirror patterns, change colors, and preview layouts before stitching. Supported lettering tools include spacing, curved layouts, multiline text, and individual-character editing. Color sorting can reduce thread changes in non-overlapping combined designs.
The Vesta reads .pes, .phc, and .dst embroidery files. DST files lack specific thread-color information, so review their colors before stitching. Designs can be saved in machine memory or on compatible USB media.
Wireless transfer uses a 2.4 GHz network with the machine and computer on the same network. Design Database Transfer is a downloadable Windows application; Palette version 11 or later is optional software sold separately. Designs in the wireless transfer pocket should be saved before the machine is turned off.
The version 1.60 addendum permits software-update downloading through a configured wireless network, but installation still requires a USB flash drive of 32 GB or less formatted FAT32.
Included with the machine
The standard package includes 13 feet, a knee lifter, electronic foot controller, four bobbins, needle set, twin needle, standard and alternate bobbin cases, embroidery bobbin thread, and sewing tools. The embroidery unit and two frame sets are included: 6-1/4 × 10-1/4 inches and 5 × 7 inches, each with a positioning grid. See the Included accessories section for the complete itemized list.
The included embroidery foot is the standard “U” foot. The U+ foot with LED pointer is optional and is not part of the standard package.
Optional accessories and membership
The BLMAC-ET extension table, BLMAC-SS straight-stitch needle plate and foot set, BLMAC-EF U+ LED-pointer embroidery foot, walking feet, specialty feet, and additional embroidery hoops are optional and sold separately.
Optional Baby Lock Love of Sewing Level 2 is a separately purchased four-year service, support, and education membership. Membership terms and exclusions apply; it is not included with the machine or its standard warranty.
