Add personalized lettering, decorative designs, and appliqué to your projects with the Baby Lock Flare. This dedicated single-needle embroidery machine offers a 6¼ × 10¼-inch embroidery field, 293 built-in designs, and 14 fonts, with on-screen tools for arranging and editing your work.
Transfer compatible designs by USB flash drive or wirelessly through Design Database Transfer for Windows. Flare is an embroidery-only machine, not a sewing-and-embroidery combination machine.

The machine weighs approximately 20 lb without the embroidery unit and approximately 27 lb with it attached.
Optional accessories and membership
The U+ embroidery foot with LED pointer, magnetic hoop, additional hoop sizes, border hoop, and spool stand are optional purchases. Palette embroidery editing software is also sold separately; it is not included in the standard machine package.
Design Database Transfer is available as a separate Windows download for wireless design transfer. Patterns transferred to the temporary wireless pocket must be saved to machine memory if you want to retain them after switching the machine off.
The Baby Lock Love of Sewing Level 3 membership is an optional, separately purchased two-year membership. It is not included with the standard machine purchase.
Manufacturer warranty
Warranty coverage includes 25 years on product casting, 10 years on defective parts, five years on circuit boards, five years on electrical components, and one year on labor. Coverage is subject to manufacturer terms and exclusions.
